I had the pleasure of photographing sweet baby Ricky! He was the sweetest, tiniest toes, and the most angelic sleeper. His momma was one of my first maternity sessions, and with the amazing black maternity dress I did earlier this summer. Her maternity photos were absolutley breathtakingMy dream as a Tacoma newborn photographer, is to have the opportunity to work with my Mommas prior to babies arrival to put her in a gorgeous maternity dress, and make her feel stunning! This goal was accomplished with this client. I mean can you imagine the possibilities of the beautiful wall art you could put in your home with the images from her maternity and newborn session?
One of my greatest accomplishments as a Tacoma newborn photographer is to be able to capture and tell a story of a point and time in my client’s life. It is even greater when I get to do it in major milestones like a pregnancy and welcoming in a brand new baby. I sold engagement and wedding rings for almost five years in the past. I loved working with guys getting ready to propose, then the bride coming back and picking out a wedding band, but then that was it. Most of my customers I saw periodically throughout the year to help them with servicing or buying a gift for a holiday or anniversary, but it was the end of the line. You would be surprised at how much you can learn and develop relationships between a guy looking for an engagement ring and a diamond sales consultant. As much as I enjoyed it I love photography so much more because those relationships that are built and established with my customers continue on throughout the years. I have not been a Tacoma newborn photographer for very long, but there are so many more opportunities to continue on the relationships I have with my clients. I mean how cool would it be to one day take baby Ricky’s or one of my other newborn babies senior photos?! If anything, since this baby factory over here has closed down, I can have the pleasure of getting close to these sweet precious little babies even if only for a few hours as a Tacoma newborn photographer.
