I don’t think I ever realized how short of a time it is that we have fields of flowers all around us. The Flaming Geyser in Auburn Washington is one of my most favorite locations to shoot at. About in May the location has fields and fields full of beautiful daisies! Unfortunately the fields get cut in late June or early July because the grass gets so tall. It is sort of a good thing for some, because those who suffer with allergies are severely bothered by all of the pollen. My goal this year was to get out there and do at least one photo session. I really wanted to do a maternity session but with the timing of my pregnant mommas of when there sessions are scheduled it doesn’t look like it is going to work this year.
Don’t cry yet because I did get to take out one of my favorite families for a 6 month old baby photo session, a two year old session and a family session all in one! Getting to this location this Seattle newborn photographers heart jumped for joy at all those daisy fields! I couldn’t resist being so giddy at how gorgeous it was. It was more beautiful that I had expected and perfect for what we had planned for this photo session.
Do you remember this family from when I did Charlie’s newborn session just five months ago, or what seems like yesterday! I can’t believe how big he has gotten so fast! It is one thing to be a mom and watch your baby grow, but when you are just their Seattle newborn photographer I only get to see them so often that I really notice the growth. Not to mention Cam I have been taking his baby photos since he was 3 months old! Our first session was actually at this exact location! So much has changed in 2 years so I thought I had to post to show the growth of these boys and the growth of this Seattle newborn photographers work! This family always has some of my most favorite photos. Can you blame me?
I hope you enjoy some of a flash back of this Seattle newborn photographers favorite photo over the last two years. Let’s hope next year I can get a beautiful pregnant momma out here in these flower fields for a maternity session!
