Living in Washington State we have so much beauty around us between the magnificence of Mt. Rainier, the trees and landscapes. I feel so blessed as a Tacoma newborn photographer for all the beauty I have in my backyard to capture these moments for my clients. For the past year I have done several family photo sessions capturing families in the beauty of our States landscapes. The country barn look has been this Tacoma newborn photographers favorite the entire summer. This family we decided to do something different and go to downtown Seattle for a family photo shoot. Mom wanted the large open fields, but Dad persisted on going to Seattle and I am so glad that we did! It was so nice to do something to change up my usual flow. This was one of my favorite sessions because it was so different, and how much the kids had fun showing their personality. I love working with kids of all ages, but it these ages were especially nice. Having three boys of my own under the age of four, it is a fresh breath to work with children that are older and that take great direction! It really makes things easier for a photo session for sure! Of course the scenery in Seattle was perfect for some really unique and interesting backdrops for this family photo session. As a Tacoma newborn photographer I am always looking for new and exciting places to take my newborn, maternity, engagement and family clients for their photo sessions.
Downtown Seattle literally has a billion places to take amazing photos. The outdoors has a ton to offer, but the charm of the old buildings, and architecture are really nice backgrounds to play with. There are several spots we used and that I saw that we didn’t use that I think would be absolutely stunning for a maternity photo session or even a romantic engagement photo session. This time of year the weather is just starting to change, but can you image some of the beautiful backdrops in the city during Christmas? I can only hope to have some more clients that would love to do something a little different then the open fields with this Tacoma newborn photographer and get out into the city.
I hope you enjoy this little peak at our beautiful city!
