First thing I am way behind on updating my blog. This session was done way back in October and now here we are in the new year. One of my previous clients contacted me asking if I would be interested in taking photos for her daughter’s homecoming. This Tacoma newborn photographer could not have been more excited to do it! It’s a perfect session to have the girls all dressed up looking their best to play and have fun for a session with a Tacoma newborn photographer. The girls dresses were so gorgeous, and they looked amazing in them. Originally we were thinking of picking a location in a beautiful wide-open field, but we ended up springing for a shoot in downtown Sumner. It was a first for this Tacoma newborn photographer, and even looking back I can see why I have now fallen in love with this location. I even came back to do my own family photos here not long after this session.
It was a pretty cold afternoon and prior to this session it was pouring down rain. As a Tacoma newborn photographer it really made me nervous. Literally, on our way down the hill from Bonney Lake the rain was just coming down. By the time I made it into Sumner the clouds parted and little peaks of sunshine started to stream through. I had a huge sigh of relief. The last thing I want as a Tacoma newborn photographer would have been for these girls dresses, hair or make up to have been ruined before they even got to the dance.
Since the weather turned in our favor we had plenty of time to explore downtown Sumner to find several unique and characteristic places to take some stunning photos. This session could not have been any better; it was like a dream of creating a perfect stylized shoot with two beautiful girls with a country rustic location. Oh and did I forget to mention the train station? When this Tacoma newborn photographer saw the cute little train station I about died at how perfect it was for this shoot. Take a peak I hope to do more of these types of sessions this new year.
