Yesterday I got to meet the new baby brother of one of my clients I worked with several times last year, and it made me realize how far behind this Tacoma newborn photographer is on my blogging. I had done baby Taytum’s newborn photos when she was just 7 days new last November. Her mom had followed my newborn prep guide perfectly. When I got to meet her and see her tiny little pouty red lips she was sleeping soundly. She barely made a peep our entire session. I did get to feed her a bottle of pumped milk at one part during the session, but other than that she did not wake.
Baby Taytum let me do almost anything with her, and get her in all the best poses. We did family photos of baby Taytum with her mom, grandma, aunt and cousin! It was so special to see just how loved she is already by everyone around her. It never gets old to have a newborn baby around. It is even a bigger plus when they are so precious and perfect. Oh my gosh, look at her hair! For a newborn she had so much perfect long brown hair! She melted this Tacoma newborn photographer right away. She looked absolutely darling with all of the newborn props, and little flower tie backs to accent her gorgeous hair and perfect little features.
She was born on Thanksgiving so of course we had to do something special for newborn Christmas photos. The one of her laying in the bowl with the snow on the floor just pulls at my heart strings as a Tacoma newborn photographer. I was just in awe as I was taking these. She could not have been any more beautiful, and the session just went so perfectly.
I had talked with her mom for about 2 months prior to her newborn photo session. It really makes a difference to book your newborn session in advance. It let’s me set time aside in my schedule to make sure I am not booked when your baby is born, and it also gives me plenty of time to plan and design the session to make the photos of your baby that much more special. Inspiration is always a great drive into preparing for each session as a Tacoma newborn photographer.
