Sometimes I know that I am the luckiest girl in the world to have a supportive loving husband to stand behind me and my dreams to be the best Seattle newborn photographer I can be! There was this little newborn prop photo bed I saw that I absolutely loved! But then I looked at the priced tag of over $130 I could not justify purchasing it when there are so many other newborn photo props and outfits I can buy.

When I showed my husband the picture of the bed he was just like I can build that! We drew out some plans and made a trip out to Home Depot. For about $50 in material we made this bed. Do you know what the best part is? We had enough material to make 4! What a way to make this Tacoma newborn photographer happy!!

So not only did I get the baby bed I really wanted for a prop. Which, I realized the one we made is even better because I can use it for newborn babies and for milestone sessions! It is big enough to hold and support newborn baby and my oversized year and a half year old! We haven’t finished the other 3 but they are going to be slightly different and different colors to give more variety for my Tacoma newborn photographer studio.

My very next newborn session I had I for sure had to use this. I used it with sweet baby Briggs who was an absolute dream to work with. It was the last series of newborn photos I did for his session and it was to die for! He posed absolutely perfectly in it and the styling with the warm tones, the newborn romper and the wool fluff were just adorable!
